So I got word that the Washington Post is having an open call for NOMINATING THE BEST WEBCOMICS OF 2011. Pretty cool, right? We all have our favorites for certain, heck, I almost instantaneously get a wave of titles that comes to my mind just glancing at the title of the article. So I just thought I’d toss the word out to you guys of this new, way cool opportunity to help spread the word about Fajita, if you should choose to do so! None of you are obliged, but I reckon it’s worth mentioning. You are some of the most amazing fans I’ve had the honor coming across, and I can’t thank you enough for all that you do. I sincerely hope all you guys have a GREAT, SUPER AWESOME TURKEY CONSUMING THANKSGIVING! You can read the actual article here, at their site!
Wait for it… … … … So yeah, I’ve got some big news.

Send in your art to FAJITABOX@GMAIL.COM, and remember to make sure it’s no more than 600px wide. Again, everyone who sends their work in will receive a cute 300×300 drawing of Skoll cosplaying WHOEVER they ask for, just make sure you let us know “WHO” in your submission! Best of luck to all you awesome folks!
Back from the always curious Nekocon having had some great times to hang out with other artists, and as always learn lotsa new things!
I really wanna thank all the readers that came out to buy prints and books, you folks are especially amazing, and you have my utmost thanks! Heck, even our very own Blatherpuss (Chance Torchia of Scantily Clad) stopped by to pass on to me the original of one of his filler pieces as a gift. What joy filled my heart XD Haha, we shot the crap, it was cool.
All in all, I can’t complain, but I am looking forward to some of the downtime we’ve got coming up over here on the Darkstar front, convention-wise. Anyway, so that’s just a quick yelp from me. Hope all you guys are stayin’ fly.
No, not another Gurren Lagann pun, but rather a kindly reminder of what has become a joyous monthly occurrence thanks to the continued support of our dedicated readers. M’yes indeed, set your browsers for Fajitacomic.com this Saturday, as we’ll be happily running still another:

Again, both Mike and I will be haunting the Artist’s Alley at Nekocon this weekend, hoping to make a blast out of what’ll likely be our last convention until well into next year. Take it easy, everybody, and I will hope to perhaps catch up with some of you awesomelies there!
It’s just around the corner, and as per usual, we are excited indeed. Here I just wanna echo Mike’s post from earlier in that we have stocked up on more of those awesome Fajita #1 comics and will have them up for sale at the con. I totally recommend hitting us up this year and grabbing yourself a copy (and even get it signed by me while you’re at it). The books also include the rare, exclusive 5-Page short I made called “Kung-Fu Skoll”. It’s as epic as it sounds.
For fans who aren’t anywhere near the Virginia Beach area we also offer these same comics for purchase online through Indyplanet. Right. There.
It’s your chance to get your hands on Fajita’s very first print incarnation EVER.
In other news, our Donation Drive of 2011 boldly presses forward with most excellent offerings, take a look at some of these sassy samples of art we’ve put together for some very lucky fans.

Check out our Darkstar Donations Drive of 2011, if you’re looking to get in on the action.
All in all, thanks for continuing to read as we bust like a stampede of steam-powered Mecha Buffaloes through our 300-page mark. Stay awesome, everybody!
