The Great Pimping of 2012.. Also Katsucon

Firstly, thanks to the diligent work of awesome fan, Zero_Starlight, our beloved comic now has it’s very own section on Fanfiction.net Some of you may already be familiar with both this site, and this new and most excellent section that has been added to it, but for those of you who’d prefer a URL, Fajita’s little patch of heaven can be found at http://www.fanfiction.net/comic/Fajita/

It’s been both honoring and most refreshing to see fans discussing the comic in the forums, and I’ve seen many a marvelous idea born from their musings, so who knows what this new venue may bring? I for one welcome anyone who wants to contribute their perspective, self-insertions, and alternate versions of the story to this garden of greatness! Let the fan-powered awesomeness begin!!!

Secondly, I want to give a hearty dose of pimping to the new Fajita Poster we have up in our storefront!

It’s Darkstar’s first original full-size poster, and we’re mighty proud of it. It’s a must have for any Fajita Fanatic, and like I said, once I get the chance, I’ll aim to abscond with one myself!

To wrap things up, we’re little less than a month away from Katsucon! One of my personal favorite cons in the year, and one of the two major appearances both Mike and I will make on behalf of Darkstar in 2012! Totally come by and see us if you can make it! More details of exactly where we’ll be in the Artist’s Alley will be up as the date draws nearer.

I’m not even kidding, I’ve just wrapped up moving a few days shy of Christmas, and geez, this year I can honestly say that it snuck up on me. I know most of you must be either busy doing Chistmassy things, or setting up watches for the big man in red, so I’ll make this quick. I hope all you folks have a wonderful Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanza, Winter Solstace, and/or whichever other celebration I may have missed in my casual cultural insensivity. But seriously, I hope all you guys have a wonderful Holiday and stay both safe and contented. Thanks for reading, Happy Holidays, and Merry Christmas!

We’re back and blazing with Fajita’s 7th installment, and let me tell you, there’s a fair amount of surprises, twists, and turns up in this one, though if you’ve read the comic this long, that’s probably nothing new to you! So get yourselves set for still more drama, more charms, and as always more unpredictability as we pick up on the aftermath of the previous chaos..ness.

In other news, I had the pleasure of providing another piece of Guest Art for unorthodox fantasy/action/comedy/amazingness title, Scantily Clad, an artistically underclothed comic by my buddy Blatherpuss over at Cladaverse.com. It’s actually a piece I was relatively happy with when I finished it, so perhaps you may like it too.

I also wanna thank all you guys for the positivity radiating from the comments section these past couple of days. Everything from new readers, to regulars, to the contributors of the successful Arts and Comics Fan Fiesta of Awesomeness. You folks are amazing, and you should feel good about that. And allow me to give you a better look at some of our latest offerings starting with a new spin on a relatively recently introduced, but instantly well-received classic..

Our very own “Team Edward” shirt. That’s right everybody, now you can wear that favorite shirt no matter how cold it might get, as it is now officially a hoodie. Ingenious, no?

As an entirely new addition to this year’s new shirts, Mike contributed THIS amazingly bold display of spiral power. It’s no secret we here at Darkstar are massive Gurren Lagann enthusiasts, and now you can partake in said enthusiasm.. With an Apple spin of all things! BRILLIANT.

And on to our final newcomer..

Car Golf. Yes, Car Golf. A phrase inspired by our very own comics here at Darkstar. Fajita has given birth to a number of quirky pastimes, and Car-Golf is certainly not the least of them. And now you can support Supernatural Sportsmanship with your very own “All American Car Golf” shirt! Oh, snap! Or rather.. FORE!

Our new products are up for Pre-Order until December 6th, and with Christmas just around the corner, what better way to support your favorite webcomickers, right? And speaking of webcomics, I just word of THIS: BAM!

So I got word that the Washington Post is having an open call for NOMINATING THE BEST WEBCOMICS OF 2011. Pretty cool, right? We all have our favorites for certain, heck, I almost instantaneously get a wave of titles that comes to my mind just glancing at the title of the article. So I just thought I’d toss the word out to you guys of this new, way cool opportunity to help spread the word about Fajita, if you should choose to do so!
