the story thus far:

It all starts with Widow, an enigmatic bug-eyed girl with no greater desire than to put her blackened past behind her, and the the day she encounters Shea, an equally mysterious blonde who claims to be in need of her help. Accompanied by their ghoulish-weaboo-partner-in-crime Skoll, the two set out on an unprecedented series of chaotic adventures that leave large parts of their city in shambles, psychotic mercenary agents on the loose, and the Department of Superhuman Protection on their tails.

But when Head of the DSP, Captain Commander takes disposing of Shea’s mysterious weapon, the “Hack-Stick” into his own hands, he becomes possessed by the malevolent creature within. The ensuing fight leaves much of the DSP headquarters completely wrecked, it’s members severely injured, and their overall morale perhaps lower than it ever has been. All the while, the mysterious Dr. Igel stands on the sidelines, pulling one too many strings behind it all.

Meanwhile following a slight magical mishap, Widow and Shea find themselves not only seperated from Skoll and their unlikely new friends, Nicky and June, but in the middle of a treacherous, monster-infested desert. Their only hope may lie in the blank stare of a tall, sword-wielding stranger who seems to recognize Widow.

Could it be that the silk strands of fate are woven more tightly than they know?
